Garen Melikian was born in Abadan, Iran, in 1962, to an Armenian family. Moved to England in 1976 and later with his family relocated to the United States in 1981. He studied history and economics at City University of New York (Baruch College) and later at The New School for Social Research, NYC.
Garen has been involved in software and computational applications since 1999. The main area of interest has been and continues to be health and sciences, as well as newer methods of human communication employing virtual technologies.
He is married and settled in Yerevan, Armenia. He is father of two and step-father to one, wonderful children.
